If you owna refrigerant/refrigerant recovery/recycle unit then you know how important it is to take care of it.
Most of the damage that occurs to recovery units is from foreign material entering the recovery unit and damaging the compressor.
If your recovery unit has a ""OIL-LESS" compressor, it is even more critical that you prevent foreign material from entering the unit.
Now comes the delema that some recovery owners face.......there is simply not enough room to screw on a pre-filter and then your hose, or you have to use a expensive male x female pre-filter.
This kit takes care of both of those problems.
This "PRE-FILTER" Kit includesa Special Male x Female Flare (1/4")filter.
The extension hose that comes with this kit allows for some room between the recovery unit inlet and the pre-filter.
You can screw the pre-filter right on to the recovery machine (using the 1/4" Female Flare side)or you can use the adapter (1/4" male flare union)and hose to give you some room between the inlet and hose connection.
