Renascent Mfg 1/8-27 NPT 304 stainless steel plug with high-temp Neodymium magnetThis 1/8”-27 stainless steel plug is constructed with a high-temperature grade N52SH Neodymium magnet.Grade 304 stainless steel has good resistance to solvents, acids, as well as resistance to many other chemicals.
The plug itself has a hex drive and is made from 304 stainless steel (others are made from zinc plated steel which has a lower corrosion resistance)
The high-temp Neodymium magnet is nickel plated, has a pull rating of 2.5 lbs., and will withstand temperatures up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit which is high enough to help protect your engine. (Motor oil begins to break down at 260 degrees Fahrenheit). Standard Neodymium magnets will begin to lose their magnetism at 175 deg.
The magnetic plug will help pull in and hold all sizes of ferrous particles in your engine’s oil.

Renascent Mfg, Inc. is not liable for any damage that may arise from the installation or use of this magnetic drain plug. Check to make sure there is proper clearance for the drain plug by slowly turning the engine or assembly over by hand to make sure there is no contact with internal components. Inspect magnets prior to installation to make sure there is no damage from shipping. Consult your owners manual to obtain the proper torque specifications.
