This Stage 1 setup is built for smooth engagement, quiet operation, and improved durability— perfect for stock and mildly modified Mustangs. The clutch kit includes a high clamp, heat-treated pressure plate and a full face organic sprung disc. The pressure plate is made from ductile iron and heat-treated for strength and reliability, providing significantly more holding power than stock while keeping a comfortable street feel. The included XTD Pro-Lite flywheel (16 lbs) is made from forged Chrome-Molybdenum steel and CNC-machined for precise balance and fitment. Reducing excess rotating mass helps the engine rev more freely, improves response, and supports quicker RPM changes compared to heavier factory steel flywheels.
