Styrene Monomer is used to thin resin and gel coat for easier application. We recommend adding no more than 5% styrene — using too much can compromise the integrity of the resin or gel coat, since these products already contain styrene as part of their formulation. Exceeding this threshold can negatively affect the physical properties and overall performance of the finished product.
Ideal as a reducer for resins and gelcoats. For best results, keep styrene addition at or below 5% to preserve the product's strength and performance.
