Product Description

The Skyjacker J20FS is a Softride Series front leaf spring delivering 2 to 2.5 inches of front lift for 1976–1983 Jeep CJ5, 1976–1986 Jeep CJ7, and 1981–1985 CJ8 Scrambler. Built from shot-peened American steel with a tapered multi-leaf design, it improves on OEM suspension geometry by distributing load more evenly across the spring pack, reducing inter-leaf binding, and increasing suspension travel — all while maintaining or exceeding factory load ratings.

Bolt-style spring clips and Teflon wear pads set the Softride design apart from budget springs that use cinch-style clips, which create friction and reduce articulation over time. Sold individually — two springs are required for a complete front installation. Spring bushing kit SE40J is required and sold separately. Optional U-bolt kit UCJF and fitted overload leaf FLJ20FS are also available for builds carrying extra accessory weight.
