The 2001-2006 Mercedes Benz CL600 is built with the following suspension components:
2001-2006 Mercedes Benz CL600 Hydraulic Reservoirs (x4) - These reservoirs are found in models with hydraulic active suspension. If your vehicle has these, then the steering pump also pushes fluid to the struts.
2001-2006 Mercedes Benz CL600 Hydraulic Struts (x4) - A rubber and plastic bag that is fitted onto a strut that uses pressurized hydraulic fluid as a cushion instead of a metal coil spring to hold a vehicle off of the ground and off of its wheels. These struts are controlled by the suspension control module, which is also responsible for redistributing hydraulic fluid to the struts as a means of weight distribution while cornering. All hydraulic springs go bad at about the same rate. If one is leaking, the others will not be far behind. For proper repair, all of them need to be replaced at the same time.
2001-2006 Mercedes Benz CL600 Height Sensors (x4) - a linkage located near each wheel of a vehicle with any electronic suspension that, either mechanically or electronically, constantly measures the height of the vehicle, and reports this information back to the control module so that the computer can identify if changes in height need to be adjusted accordingly. The ride height sensor is a moving part, and like all moving parts, it will eventually wear out.
2001-2006 Mercedes Benz CL600 Hydraulic Lines - tubes that run from a hydraulic pump to the hydraulic which carry pressurized hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic struts in order to adjust the height of the vehicle as well as redistribute weight while cornering.
2001-2006 Mercedes Benz CL600 Hydraulic Pump - if your Mercedes has hydraulic suspension instead of air suspension, then the hydraulic steering pump will also serve as the reservoir for the hydraulic fluid going into the struts.
2001-2006 Mercedes Benz CL600 Suspension Control Module - A computer that is responsible for the operations of the air suspension system and maintaining the vehicle's correct ride height.
2001-2006 Mercedes Benz CL600 O-rings - Although they are the least expensive parts of the air suspension, they are responsible for sealing the air line connections. Be sure to replace the O-rings when repairing any air suspension system.Suspension Failure Signs
Stay on top of these common signs of failed or leaking suspension in your 2001-2006 Mercedes-Benz CL600. You don't want to let them go on forever because other components will wear out, too. The most noticeable sign is a sudden uneven height difference between the sides of the vehicle. The CL600 might have a sagging rear or front, or one side might be more inflated than the other. Perhaps the entire CL600 looks like it's squatting low to the ground. An inconsistent or inappropriate ride height is a bad sign. Other signs include a warning light or message illuminated on the instrument cluster. Check the air compressor- is it working too hard, or not working at all? If any of these symptoms are present in your Mercedes Benz CL600, you may need a repair or replacement immediately.

Returns
All returns must be postmarked within thirty (30) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.
RETURN PROCESS
In the event that you need to return your item for non-warranty related issues, a restocking fee will be applied to your return. We use restocking fees as a way to cover the cost of the return shipping, inspecting and reboxing of the item.

A $100 restocking fee will be charged for all 2-wheel conversion kits or non-conversion kits items valued less than $500.00.
A $200 restocking fee will be charged for all 4-wheel conversion kits or non-conversion kits items valued in excess of $500.00.

To return an item, please email customer service at to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving a RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase, and mail your return back to us.

Warranty Info
Suspension Experts, LLC (Strutmasters) warrants to the original retail purchaser that each new Strutmasters branded product purchased from an authorized dealer shall be free from defects for the periods listed below when used on private passenger cars and light trucks for personal use under normal operating conditions.
Warranty Period
Strutmasters extends a 1 Year warranty on all Strutmasters branded shocks, struts, and springs.
Strutmasters extends a 90 Day warranty on SmartRide branded shocks, struts, and springs.
Warranty Details
This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover normal wear and tear or any other loss, liability or damage resulting from improper alteration, disassembly, handling, installation, service, repair or use of this product. If for any reason you find it necessary to alter a product you must receive written consent from a Strutmasters technician.
This warranty will not cover surface finish, boot or mounting hardware such as, but not limited to, rubber bushings or dust covers.
If a replacement is required prior to returning the defective product, a deposit for the replacement may be required. The deposit charge will be refunded upon receipt of the warrantied item.
If the product is purchased in error or is no longer needed, the customer is responsible for shipping the products back at their expense and will be subject to a restocking fee as outlined in our return policy.
If you have purchased a Strutmasters product from a 3rd party seller all warranty claims and returns must be submitted directly through the 3rd party.
The warranties and remedies contained herein are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties expressed, implied, or statutory, including any liability arising under any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, statutory or otherwise. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary by jurisdiction.
In no event shall Strutmasters be liable for any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages, whether resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use a Strutmasters product or from defects in the Strutmasters product. Cost of removal, installation and other labor claims are not included or covered under this warranty. Strutmasters obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement of the defective product.
Strutmasters retains the exclusive right to repair or replace with new or remanufactured product or offer refund of the purchase price at its sole discretion.
This warranty is null and void if the installation is not performed by an ASE certified mechanic. It is required to submit a receipt or proof of installation was completed by an ASE certified mechanic with your warranty claim form.
All warranty returns must be shipped back with a copy of your original invoice, sales order or receipt, verifications of installation by a certified ASE mechanic and the warranty claim form. After receiving the returned product we will take 2-4 business days to process your warranty return.
Non-Strutmasters Warranty Info
For Non-Strutmasters branded products, most manufacturers offer a warranty period that covers against merchandise defects. To determine warranty requirements for a specific item, please contact the manufacturer directly for more information about their warranty policies.
Please note warranty processing may take 4-8 weeks and will be subject to the individual manufacturer's policies and discretion. Manufacturer warranties do not cover defects determined to be caused by normal wear or due to customer error or negligence.
