This is a highly detailed 1/12 scale plastic model kit of the Yamaha YZR-M1 ’09 Fiat Yamaha Team Estoril Edition.
The 2009 Yamaha YZR-M1 brought Yamaha the rider, manufacturer, and team titles in MotoGP. While the standard 2009 Fiat Yamaha Team color scheme used white pearl and blue metallic, this Estoril Edition features a special silver metallic livery created to celebrate the launch of Fiat’s Punto Evo.
At the 2009 Portuguese GP (Estoril), Jorge Lorenzo took pole position and won the race, while Valentino Rossi finished 4th, helping secure the team title.
