If you are making modifications to your motor or changing the altitude where you\'re riding, you need to change the gram weight in your primary clutch flyweights. The Venom 10 series billet shift weights maintain a closer tolerance to mass spec than powdered metal style weights and have a premium bushing in the pin bore.
If you need to increase RPM at full throttle, lower gram weight. Testing has shown that you need to lower gram weight by 6 grams per weight if you go from sea level to 6000–9000 feet and 8 grams if you go above 9000 feet in a two-stroke 800. Always refer to manufacturer recommendations for altitude setups.
