Product Description
The Wehrli WCF100344-GB 4-inch Intake Kit is a high-flow performance intake system designed for 2017-2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax L5P diesel engine. This kit replaces the restrictive factory intake system with a large-diameter aluminum intake pipe and a sealed fabricated aluminum air box. The increased airflow capacity helps the turbocharger breathe more efficiently, improving throttle response and supporting higher performance potential in both stock and modified trucks.
A high-flow dry air filter paired with an Outerwear’s hydrophobic pre-filter cover helps protect the engine by preventing water, dirt, and debris from entering the intake system. The intake draws cooler air from the factory hood ram-air duct and inner fender area to maintain stable intake temperatures under load. Finished in a durable gloss black powder coat, the system enhances engine bay appearance while resisting corrosion. The kit installs using factory mounting points with basic hand tools and does not require tuning, making it a straightforward performance upgrade for Duramax L5P trucks.
