Once we receive your engine, we start by documenting what parts your engine has and any obvious damage. Next, the engine gets cleaned and blasted with environmentally friendly media. The engine is then put in queue to be dissassembled. Once we dissassemble your engine, its components are inspected to ensure they are within factory specifications. An invoice is then sent if there is any work needed not covered under the standard remanufacture. In addition to correcting or replacing any out-of-spec or damaged components, each engine gets its cylinder(s) trued, honed, and crosshatched. New gaskets and seals are installed and its piston(s) and rings are fit to the new bore size. Afterwards, the engine is inspected to ensure all components are within factory tolerances before being reassembled. The engine then has a fresh coat of paint applied and is packaged to ship back to you.

Frequently Asked Questions Do I need to send a core?
Yes.
We don't sell cores or engines. We only remanufacture engines. So you must be able to provide us with a core. We are usually able to fix a damaged core even if they have a hole in them.
How long does it take?
It typically takes less than 30 days depending on parts and queue length. For an up-to-date turnaround time estimate, contact us. If your engine requires out-of-stock parts, turnaround time may increase. If you need it sooner you can opt to pay a core-deposit.
What if I need it sooner?
If we have a core in stock, you can opt to pay a core-deposit to have us ship you a core before receiving your core. Cores typically ship same or next-day. If your core is remanufactureable, the core-deposit will be refunded to you within 15 days. Contact us to check availability and compatibility.
What would be an additional charge?
Some examples of common additional charges include:
- Damaged valves, guides, seats, connecting rods, or cylinder heads
- Broken bolts/studs and extraction
- Flywheel or clutch removal
- Missing parts
- Welding holes
If you're unsure if something is covered under the standard remanufacture, contact us. Do you ship internationally?

We only ship directly to addresses within the contiguous United States of America. We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or any US territories.
Do you use OEM parts?
We attempt to use as many new OEM parts as possible. However, some OEM parts are simply impossible or impractical to obtain. In these cases, we may remanufacture a part or substitute it with a non-OEM part that has been certified by our in-house engineering staff for quality and durability.
