Description
Stock rockers have a 1.6 ratio. These are intended to maximize the performance of the stock camshaft by increasing the lift of the stock cam lobe. Increasing the lift of the valve will improve airflow through the heads resulting in about 5-7% more horsepower. That is percentage not HP gain. Horsepower gain in average is 15 to 20hp to the wheels depending on what other modifications you have. Works well for all 1996 to 2008 3.8L series II and series III engines. Both naturally aspirated and supercharged engines.This is a great solution for people who don\'t want to take the entire engine apart to install a camshaft.A much easier install that nets great horsepower while reducing KR at the same time. You will feel the difference instantly.They will reduce the boost a bit in supercharged applications which will reduce knock. These will work great in supercharged, turbo, or naturally aspirated 3800 cars. If your valve springs have less than 100,000 miles on them, generally they can be reused. However running90# valve springsand LS styleretainerswill allow you to bump the shift point a bit more for more higher RPM gains and avoid valve float. They come as a complete set, with the rocker arms themselves, custom pedestals, new rocker bolts, and a set of 5/16\" chromoly push rods. Includes:
