Mytee Products introduces a versatile trailer accessory; Viking’s aluminum skid seats equipped with rods and standard hitch pins for ensuring that the mounting of ramps or other equipment on trailers is stable and secure. This width makes sure that the load is evenly distributed across the trader and it reduces the risk of tipping or instability. Here are the other important features of this product:

Size and Compatibility: The 36-inch wide design of the skid seat makes it stable during use and it provides a broad base to the skid seat. This size also helps to prevent tipping or shifting which makes the product suitable for loading heavy equipment. With a versatile mounting option, our skid seats are compatible with double-deck trailers. The skid seats can be mounted on both upper or lower decks of the double-deck trailers.
High-Quality Material: The aluminum construction makes the skid seats strong, versatile, and secure. The durability of the aluminum material enables them to be flexibly used across different trailer setups. Manufactured using high-strength aluminum material, the skid seats can perform heavy-duty loading operations without any deforming or failure.
Secure Positioning: The availability of locking rods adds extra security by keeping the skid seat in place and preventing unnecessary movement during loading or transit applications. The loading rods are essential to maintain the integrity and safety of both the trailer and the load.
Application: Our skid seats ensure that a stable base is available for mounting ramps. Installation: You can install the aluminum skid seats by aligning them on the desired deck and marking and drilling mounting holes. Once this is done, bolt the skid seats securely in place. Later, insert the loading rods and lock them with the included hitch pins for added security. You may also trim around the stake pockets if required.

Note 1): You may consider welding for more permanent installation of the skid seats.
